I don't know why anyone would mute in-game music unless it was ruining their experience. At the very least, it's atmospheric. IMMERSION.

I do this sometimes. There are a lot of games where the music isn't used all that well so instead of helping with immersion it actively distracts from the game. Particularly battle music is often so grating it makes me want to tear my hair off.

well we don't have bg music in life so i may as well make it something i like. i still have voices and sound fx enabled (IE animals growling,). bg music isn't particularly immersive IMO.

yeah, violins play an awful lot, like at the lady boyle party and random audiographs are playing violin pieces. it's nice.


didn't realise my music gameplay wuold be such a big deal lol.

I mute the main bg music. Not...the voices or anything. ok sometimes i mute them too if they're too annoying and games like pokemon where it's so repetitive i can't stand it.

lol i don't mute movies. movies are 50% and 50% viewing. games are 45%viewing, 45%
