I was specifically asking for resources in addition to a site I had been using, but it's a little outdated. I don't know how anybody could think it was a "please educate me!" request unless it was a snap assumption. If I'd worded it in a "please educate me!" way, I'm sure I would've gotten at least one response telling me off for it, but seeing as I got nothing, I can only assume that people understood what I was looking for and just had no resources/didn't care enough to help me out.

Even aside from that, though, I've seen several instances of people asking for more information on something misunderstood/underrepresented and other people just being assholes and telling them to "google it." Maybe it's just me, but I'm happy to provide links when somebody isn't specifically asking for their own private lesson on the matter. I don't know why people have to go out of their way to be assholes when they could just move on.
