Stuff like the song "Santa Baby" is an excellent example. They actually make fun if infantilisation of women's sexuality in the show Community. Where Annie sings in the episode "Regional Holiday Music".

That's probably the weirdest interpretation of "Santa Baby" I've heard.

Because frankly, I can't imagine my nieces wanting a platinum mine, or dropping a double entendre into every verse.

I agree with a general trend toward infantalization--particularly in Christmas music--but Santa Baby isn't the best example. At least not in its original recording.

Which was by Eartha Kitt, least infantalized woman to ever live who wasn't Bea Arthur.
