One thing to note, basically all of them have changed color (Snow White actually looks a bit *less* pale oddly enough)* because the artist is really liberal with highlights and extremely bright lighting. It's clear they're trying to make them a bit more uniform and almost a part of the same art style, but they should have noticed how pale they kept making all of them, particularly those three.

I wouldn't say Mulan is necessarily unbelievable as a Chinese girl (though maybe as a soldier getting a whole lot of time outdoors). As far as Pocahontas and Jasmine go they don't strike me as too much lighter than they used to be, and still not white. Don't get me wrong, I'm not on board with lightening people up for beauty a la horrible Beyonce ad, but some people talk as if a person has to be really dark to be properly Not White. There are a lot of brown and red shades on the lighter end of the scale, no miscegenation required.

As a Chinese person, Mulan definitely does *not* look Chinese at all there. Maybe she looks closer to a powdered Japanese geisha but not Chinese.
