Lol no. If you don't purposely seek out conversations of that sort and purposely bait people into talking about it you generally won't run across it. You have to basically say 'come at me bro' to get people to start arguing with you about that stuff.

I have to disagree. Simply searching a fandom/ship's tag on tumblr and you will come across sjw wanking. Honestly I've seen pretty graphics reblogged with ranting and raving about "biege dicks" and "racism"; completely unprovoked- other than simply making a nice graphic with a character/ship as the subject matter.
