Is it inappropriate to say I'm sorry people have treated you that way? I think you've hit the nail on the head wrt the "annoying straight white lady" strain of SJW that people are complaining about. There's a serious issue within feminism (and other forms of activism) where it's like... because you read some bell hooks or Angela Davis, you now totes understand Black womanhood, too!!! Or whatever.

What I mean is, they get condescending because their good intentions and/or desire to be seen fighting the good fight means they end up ignoring the like REAL WORLD EXPERIENCES of the minorities they claim to represent? It is absurd. THAT is a great time to tell a SJW to sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up.

Pfffft! lol. Okay, I know I said I wasn't going to mention any of the "minority" categories I fall under, but now I have to. I'm physically disabled, using a wheelchair to get around. So, naturally, I lol'd from reading: "THAT is a great time to tell a SJW to sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up." lol, Sit-The-Fuck-Down. Ha! I can't help myself, the whole self-deprecating humor has always been a part of how I cope with my disability, so yeah... lolz.
