Drawing with a tablet?

(Anonymous) 2013-02-13 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I recently got a Nexus 7 tablet as a gift. I was actually considering buying a 'drawing only' tablet, but now that I have this, I would rather try to use it to draw.

I get that I can download some apps that will allow me to make drawings that are saved to the tablet... my question is, is there any way that I can use my tablet to draw on my computer? Like, drawing in programs I already have on my computer, using the tablet/stylus like a mouse? Or do tablets like this not work that way?

I've never had a tablet before so I'm pretty confused.

I highly doubt you can use your Nexus 7 to draw on a main computer as if it were a drawing tablet, like, for instance, Wacom's Intuos series of drawing tablets.

But don't let that stop you from trying those drawing apps for the gifted tablet. They look fun when being able to draw with your fingers besides a stylus. :)
