Re: Baking!

There are so many different recipes for brownies, it can be overwhelming to find one you like. I always made them from a box when I was younger and kept adding more and more things the box didn't mention until I figured I should lose the box altogether.

Here's a recipe I usually use (give or take)

2 cups sugar
2/3 cup flour
2/3 cup cocoa (I like using the Hershey's Special Dark cocoa)
1 tspn salt
1 tspn baking powder
1/4 tspn baking soda
2 eggs
2/3 cup oil or melted butter
2/3 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350. Mix dry ingredients together, then add in wet ingredients. Bake for 25-27 minutes, or long enough for a toothpick inserted in the brownies to come out clean.

Optionally, you can add toppings - a handful of chocolate chips, walnuts, peanut butter, cheesecake (mix of cream cheese, eggs, and sugar), before you put it in the oven.
