I hate all Doctor/Anyone Who Isn't a Timeperson. It just feels icky to me, not just because of the age difference (although, yeah...), but just the life experiences gap.

Though I also hate Doctor/River even if she is technically a "timeperson" (though really she's not.)

I just can't get into Doctor/person who is young and naive compared to him

But everybody is young and naive compared to him. And it's not like he got along with very many Time Lords anyway - he was too childish and uncivilized for them.

That's pretty much why I don't ship the Doctor though. It's possible the writers could give him some alien character that was on his level but in the new series everyone he's paired with is too problematic for me.
