Depends on the fandom

Unfortunately, in most fandoms it will eventually come after you one way or another. Even if you stay away from any form of meta or discussion in the fandom, if you forget a trigger warning or post one badly worded phrase, SJWs will come after you, and even after you apologize and fix your mistakes they'll still come after you.

Maybe in some fandoms that won't happen, but near as I can tell this is usually how it is in the "big" fandoms, and that tends to spread to the smaller ones.
