Man, I hope it's true. I like humanized ponies, and those designs are surprisingly pretty good!

They went the route of "fuck it, Rainbow Dash and Trixie can have blue skin, Applejack pale orange, Twilight Sparkle pale purple, etc." of skin tones, which I wouldn't choose over not white-washing/more variety in actual human tones, but oh well.

Also, so many lols at the reactions at EqD. Why so much hate for humanized ponies? O_o

It's true. Hasbro copyrighted the human toy line a little bit ago. I think this is hilarious. It'll probably be about fashion and makeup and they'll get boyfriends. It's the FiM version of the second season of G1. You know, the one where the ponies lived in a town and had boy troubles and always sat in an ice cream pallor? LOL.

Hmm...

After reading through the article, I think I'll give it a shot. I gave Touhou and the original FiM a shot, maybe it'll not be as bad as it sounds.

Besides, I'm only watching for the music and the remixes.

Aw... I wish they'd stuck with more human skin tones, the rainbow skin looks out of place.

It looks like it takes place in a high school, but aren't they too old for high school? Wait - it looks like a school that specializes in horseback riding. I wonder if this will bring up any existential crises.

I like the hair and outfit designs, they're cute, but why are they all in skirts?

Maybe it's some sort of uniform? I couldn't think of any other reason for the skirts.

I think they might have stuck with the pony-fur-to-skin-solour to avoid assigning any particular races to the characters?
