idk, I'm a Straight White Girl (TM) and I totally get where people are coming from when they complain about this. It's like if I tried to commandeer discussions about racism or the LGBT community and tell other people what they should think. It's one thing to be in support of minorities and equality and speak out against slurs and hate, but it's another thing to think that my opinion somehow becomes more valid than theirs.

It's like with sexism - if I see a man speak out against sexism, that's good. It's another voice. If I see a man telling *me* what is and isn't sexist or shit like that (and it's happened more than once...) that pisses me off. I don't wanna be that person.
