O...k. I'm sort of tempted to say 'troll', because it would not have been hard at all to find a group of people eager and energetic to agree with you. Seriously, walk into the Bleach fandom. The air you're breathing is full of Orihime hate.

And personally, I think basically every character from Bleach is poorly written. I don't think Orihime is an exception. I think she's simply the sort of character people naturally dislike anyway, and when magnified under the terrible lens that is Bleach's lighting, it makes people crazy.

As far as ugly...I don't know, she has a pretty normal face for the series' women. I guess you think they're all ugly?

There's an anon who has been occasionally accusing actors of being ugly, but I have yet to see an example of someone accusing random anime characters of it.

Maybe the ugly anon is expanding their field. It's recession, after all.

You're welcome to think and say it, but bzuh? I don't get it. She's friendly and kind to everyone she meets, she's a pacifist/healer to the point of stupidity, and she would give up her life for her friends (and even people she just met and/or who were total dicks to her). How does dumb!kitten sweetness = HORROR WITHIN?

Also, her face design is the same as half the female characters in the series, so, lolwut?

I agree w/her being ugly on the inside (there was a chapter named after her inner ugliness).

As for being ugly on the outside, well I disagree. It was pretty obvious that Kubo wanted to make her not ugly on the outside so her inner ugliness could be much more tolerable.

As fucked up as this is going to sound, I feel like people would have stopped defending her a long time ago if she were ugly on the outside because then some of her inner-ugly actions and statements would have been seen more clearly for what they were...an insecurity driven overstepping of boundaries. It seems like a lot of times she's okay as long as her crush seems okay too. I won't even start about how unhealthy that is because I know there are those who ship it and see nothing wrong with it.

Hinata is more or less her type of character done right, IMO.

It's anime. There are no ugly characters except the gonk ones, and they're obvious.

Every time I see these comments I picture you with a really puggish nose and bulgy eyes and a kind of round heart shaped face with a slightly-too-large forehead that gets really shiny regardless of whether or not you've been doing a lot of excercise.

I picture you with the kind of face that was only en vogue for a short period of time, like you got a terrible early 90's rhinoplasty and therefore think you "could have been a model" when really that was never in the cards. So now, because your own looks were ever lacking, you go around judging everyone else's assuming they are like you, and have nothing else to fall back on.

I just thought you should know.
