Does anyone else ever kill time on Sporcle? Favourite quiz type or subject?

I'm going to a trivia night tonight and I'm refreshing my memory of world flags. It's ridiculous how comforting I find it to get all 197 flags right. It's the most calming thing I know.

I just mentioned Sporcle upthread in the things to do when bored bit. I've spent this evening using it to learn the state capitals of that big country over on the left where all the movies and tv shows and funding for pro-life movements and strangely-flavoured sweets come from.

I might do that after I learn the world capitals. But I'm Canadian so I'm already pretty bitter about the amount of American trivia I've learned unintentionally.
I'm pretty pleased about discovering the existence of at least 30 countries via Sporcle world flags- it's totally useful! for things other than winning beer at trivia nights, even!

Oh damn, that's great! I like "educational" trivia too. I had a way to memorize all the elements (I was working up to naming them by atomic number), countries on the world and world flags when I stopped playing.

127 flag... not too bad I guess.
