So, today I almost told my best friend I had a thing for here right at the beginning of our friendship.

Anyone here done that? Did you have a good laugh or was it still awkward no matter how much time had passed?

Mine was just glad I didn't tell him earlier, because there were like three other girls after him at the time and he hated the chaos. If I had told him then, even if I never actually made a move, it would have just been extra drama. It was pretty much the response I expected, so we're cool.

My friend told me, in the presence of their boyfriend and just before moving across the country, that they had "the biggest crush on me in high school".
It didn't make anything awkward. We're both in relationships and I always kind of knew anyway. I think telling me meant more to them than it did to me.

I did once, but I knew it wouldn't be awkward because he came out of the closet a few months prior to my revelation. It was very lighthearted. He joked that if he were straight he would've been up for it.
