I've had a conversation with a friend in the past about women's hair. My friend said she believes in general women can easily look edgier with short hair, and it's hard to look bad with short hair. I thought about it, and I find it to be very true. However, we also noticed that men tend to like women with long hair (perhaps long hair tends to be associated with females). I talked to a male friend later about this, and he said he thinks women look better with long hair (for the record, he's gay).

It's something I find interesting. Like when Emma Watson cut her hair short, I thought she looked beautiful and was a bold move. A short cut frames a face really well. But then a lot of men said they found Emma Watson's haircut a bad choice because they said she looked like a little boy. So...it's as I suspect; men tend to like women with long hair since that's what we expect from women.
