I don't think condoms ruin porn at all, but I can understand if you don't like reading sbout them. Now, what the fuck writing about a OTP (which the writer might or not be doing) has to do with using condoms???? So if you truly love someone, no condoms? Ok, that's the one instance when lack of condoms squick me - when they say in-fic it's not needed because they're in love.

I think they're assuming that neither person in the OTP will have diseases and therefore no condom is necessary. Just my take on it.
