I felt the same way about Lollys' rape. I was horrified at what happened to her and none of the characters seemed to give a damn, even her own sister was making fun of her when she was terrified to go inside the castle during the siege. Then people act like she was 'despoiled' because she had a bastard after being raped by 50 men. Most of the rape in the book I can deal with because societies like that, especially ones in such turmoil, do have a lot of rape, but the lack of any sort of empathy for Lollys' was disgusting.

I really didn't have much of a strong reaction to the atmosphere of sexual violence otherwise, but the gangrape of Lollys was the one point I really got angry with for exactly the reasons you mentioned. Everybody treats her like she's so stupid and useless for being scared.

my head canon is that Bronn and Lollys are actually really happy together. >:c
