I still can't disassociate "Rolling in the Deep" with Charles/Erik from X-Men. This is ridiculous. I'm not even obsessively into the pairing anything.

Invincible by OK Go is the SGA/SG1 fanvid I always wanted to make but could never find the time or motivation for - but I still always end up thinking about it.

And Tanglewood Tree by Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer will always be about Johnny/Sarah/Walt for me.

Two from Code Geass, and I'm not even a particularly big fan.

Viva La Vida, but I'm guessing that's not unusual. The other is White flag by Dido for a Kallen/LeLouche shipping video (that's a scrub ship! C.C./LeLouche is obviously superior).

The First by Tegan and Sara will always be associated with a Buffy fanvid, which is where I first heard the song.

Yes! I get that way with Monster by Meg & Dia. I first heard it in a Joker/Rachel Dawes video by Kendra Luehr.

This is actually why I refuse to watch the music videos to songs I really, really enjoy. I fear that it will turn out to be a wreck of a video, and I'll associate it with the song I love and I won't be able to enjoy it as much or the same way I used to.

A loooong time ago, this was me with the Avril Lavigne song "Girlfriend". I always imagined the singer as some bitter nasty controlling bitch who got spectacularly blown off by the guy and his titular girlfriend at the end. The fact that the singer "won" in the music video always annoyed me.

2 Atoms in a Molecule is always about John/Rodney to me. That vid got me into Noah and the Whale!

"Red" by Elbow is for Arthur Pendragon, "You Spin Me Right Round" is Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid, Sherlock Holmes = "King Of Anything", and this has happened to me many, many times in Supernatural fandom.

I agree with Rolling in the Deep for Charles/Erik.

The newest one is "King and Lionheart" for Bilbo/Thorin because it's EVERYWHERE in fandom.

"Love The Way You Lie" always makes me think of this one Elliot Stabler/Olivia Benson vid, which is... pretty disconcerting actually, given what the song is about and what the show is about.

And then there's "Somebody That I Used To Know," which I haven't even seen in fanvid form (although I'm sure there's half a dozen out there at least) but still makes me think of E/O because of some tumblr posts from back when the song was just getting big.

Another one! I heard Bukowksi by Modest Mouse in a store the other day and immediately thought of House because of a fanvid I saw once years ago.

"What About Everything" will always be multi-era Doctor Who for me, as that's where I first heard the song.

YESSSSSSS! Wait...which video did you see? The one by calapine or Babelcolour?

I've seen both, but I mean the calapine one. The FIRST calapine one. I have a copy of it, even though it's really glitchy and LQ. But the first time I saw it I had only seen 9 and some 10 and my only Classic experience was The Five Doctors.

Oh, I've never seen the first calapine one :( Is it substantially different?
