They are interesting. Which is one of the many many many reasons TES is my favorite. And it's fun to rpg with other people's TES characters, to see how they view lore, or how they react to game events or what factions they favor and why.

There are so many paths to take, so many stories, so many possibilities, and so many variations of head!canon of what happen afterwards. And the care and love fellow fans take in creating their characters is awesome.

I think people who look down at this are losing out on something. Or just don't understand the kind of fun it is.
