INSPIRED BY SECRET 10
(Anonymous) 2013-02-17 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)Re: INSPIRED BY SECRET 10
He was kind of a quiet, unassuming guy who got the job done and didn't cause any problems. Naively magnanimous, even after Benny shot him and left him for dead, Kit still gave the fucker a second chance to attempt murder. After avoiding a second second death- thanks to Arcade's surprise skills with pool cue,- Kit started wising up. He also devolved a taste for revenge, his own and others'. He took great pleasure in crudely chopping off Benny's head with a machete and feeding his decapitated corpse to the Legion's best mongrels.
Kit learned, through trial, error and odd jobs, how to play the game. He played the NCR and the Legion against each other until he chose to side with the independents. His love for a certain tall, blond and handsome doctor may have had some to do with Kit's decision to work toward an independent New Vegas, but Kit fully believed it was the right choice. Despite the fact that loving Arcade was difficult and seemingly unreciprocated, Kit never stopped letting him know how he felt. Kit's friends and companions believed Arcade did love Kit, but was as secretive with his feelings as he was with his past out of fear. Kit was a terrible flirt and used his good looks to get information and other... things from men and women (and robots named FISTO). Like I said, he really learned how to play the game, and using sex was often a means to an end.
That's pretty much all I have. At one point I decided Kit and Arcade would marry and run an orphanage for war orphans and young Legionnaires. I think running a war orphanage sounds a bit OOC for Arcade, though.

Is always looking out for number one. If you mess up, you're dead. Isn't cruel on purpose, but will do what she considers necessary even if it isn't pretty. (That goes for the crew, too.)
Decent guy but has trust issues and won't commit to a relationship. Romanced Ashley and regretted it. Isn't overtly close to his crew because THERE LIES DANGER.
Paragon, will give people second chances but will also kick your ass without hesitation if you're out of line. Romanced Kaidan and Kaidan only. Is everyone's bff. Happily blew the hell out of the reapers and lived to tell the tale.
Is a classic flirty, snarky, somewhat selfish asshole with a heart of gold
(and secret self-esteem issues). Romanced Fenris. Is a bit of an idiot, naive, doesn't enjoy the weight of command, too polite for his own good, and often lets his emotions get the best of him (making him do stupid shit like running off with his apostate boyfriend Anders after said boyfriend blew up a Chantry).
Mmm, blood.Re: INSPIRED BY SECRET 10
(Anonymous) 2013-02-18 03:01 am (UTC)(link)In the process of trying to develop a stronger attachment for my team as part of my Nuzlocke run, my generic pokemon protagonist wound up with a personality and he's really grown on me.

Re: INSPIRED BY SECRET 10
I have mapped out whole stories for my main AdventureQuest character. To the point where I named and designed my first Fire Emblem Awakening character after him, and headcanoned a ton of not-in-game stuff about him (and to an extent, his wife and kids in-game too). Like him being a klutz and injuring himself--whereas his wife, Sumia, is a klutz who breaks things (canon!). It runs in the family because their older future-daughter does both! (Also canon!) And him hardly getting any sleep ever because he stays up way too late reading tactics manuals and planning and studying tactics. Plus I figure the whole back wall of the Barracks that you can't rotate to see in-game is absolutely covered with stat sheets, maps, tactics charts, and so on. He's also just a touch of a control freak (thanks for that, Golden Gaffe DLC!), so the second each of the future children got in, he sat them down and got details from them so he could write up a timeline.
I joked about this on another post, but my Avatar F for Awakening also has a headcanon now, wherein in the future she taught Lucina and Morgan Lethality at a young age. Thus, mother-child throat slitting practice. (My game seems in favour of this as they both proc it all the damn time.) Also, she's a fair bit more ruthless than my Avatar M, which is why she classed to Assassin so rapidly. She doesn't like magic much at all, and only very recently has she actually begun to include magic using other than healing in the lineup--sometime around when they picked up Morgan.
...Yeah. I do this a lot.
Re: INSPIRED BY SECRET 10
That's actually a pretty cool head canon.
Re: INSPIRED BY SECRET 10
Warden: Aeden "Nox" Cousland
My headcanon is that he's actually an apostate (hence the magical!warrior skills) and the son of Bryce Cousland's apostate-turned-Magister brother. He was born of a bastardy Tevinter blood magic ritual that trapped a spirit of Mercy in his body (which is why he looks fucking weird) and he spent a good portion of his childhood visiting his father in Tevinter. He's sort of a prototype for his and Morrigan's son.
(I actually came up with all this after my first playthrough with the character, because I was trying to make my unusual design choices fit in with the lore. I've replayed Origins and the DLC with Nox 3 times now just because I enjoy his invented backstory so much.)
Archmage (Oblivion & Skyrim), Stormblade: Havok (Altmer)
Besties with Sinderion in Oblivion, left the Psijic Order a few hundred years ago to wander Tamriel, fell in love with Skyrim and settled down after the Mages' Guild fell apart. Became a priest of Talos in Helgen, and after his home burned he joined the Stormcloaks and moved to Winterhold to be closer to his friends at the College.
Dovahkiin: Gunnar the Grim-Sung (Nord)
Son of Gunjar, son of Gunvar. Poncy little milk-drinker who took his father's axe and ran away from home at 15 to become a bard. Traveled Skyrim, became an Master Illusionist, fell in with the Thieves guild. Eventually found out he was the Dragonborn and started amassing objects of great power to increase his chances against Alduin. Falls in love with Boethiah after hearing her speak, and is seeking a way to restore Lorkhan.

(Anonymous) 2013-02-18 05:33 am (UTC)(link)The blaster/scrapper worked in Pocket D as an assistant to the various Cape DJs. I had pretty much perfected the anthropomorphic fox look, with the scrapper having a unique costume for each origin, all of them absolutely fabulous, and the Blaster wearing various civilian/hero outfits. Both of them went Vigilante (the scrapper being my main toon had to go completely around the morality loop a couple of times first of course) as soon as possible.
The mastermind was basically just having fun being a complete maniac, lust-for-life and crime just having an absolute BLAST shooting things in the face en-masse, named minions who he would banter with, sweet trenchcoat and laser pistols. Oscillated between villain and rogue, mostly rogue. More places to shoot faces, yo!
Aaaaand now I have made myself thoroughly sad that I will never be able to make characters for that game anymore. Not even the costume editor. Whyyyy ;^;
