To elaborate, free or open channels (the ones you really don't have to pay for at all, and only need an antenna to get them) dub everything.

Cable TV channels and stuff like HBO used to sub mostly everything, but in later years they started to switch to "you can choose" and then to "fuck you, who wants subs anyway" and now subs are getting more and more scarce each year. (And also, at least our cable provider messed up something in the sub system, where we the subs skip lines all the time)

Usually, things aired during the morning or early afternoon will be dubbed and stuff at night will be subbed.

And some channels dub everything, while others tend to lean towards subs.

At least some have that SAP thingy to switch to the original language. vOv

Same with the movie theater: before, stuff like Disney movies or anything animated or explicitly aimed at children was mostly dubbed but there would usually be at least a room airing a sub (if the locale was big enough to have enough rooms), while everything else was pretty evenly split on the dubs vs subs ratio, but since 3D became such a big thing, they've taken to use the rooms that were used for subs to air 3D versions of the movies, so now subs are getting harder and harder to find.

So, yeah, it kinda sucks if you prefer subs. :/ At least DVDs usually come with subs.
