I lot of people use Xception to mean a recursive situation (i.e. "a secret within a secret" would be a secret-ception, a play within a play is a play-ception, etc). OP is getting sick of it because of the technical terminology ("inception" means, in the movie, planting an idea, and the dream-within-a-dream concept was being used for non-inception purposes even in the movie). Most of the other people on this thread find it amusing because the slang/meme never came from the word, but was named after the movie itself, which just happens to use "inception" as its title. :)
