(Anonymous) 2013-02-18 06:59 am (UTC)(link)A lot of mods for TES PC do the same thing, altering the appearence of Dunmer, Altmer, etc, enough to be lore breaking IMO, but you don't want to bash that in the modding community, else you will get a cold reception there. They have a wonderful healthy outlook. If it floats your boat, have fun with it.
It's too bad we can't have that live and let live view in fanfic. Now I have absolute zero interest in reading about a green eyed pale skinned Dunmer named Sakura, but I don't care about it, either. If someone is enjoying it, good. That was the original spirit of the games, a sandbox to play in, and a broad support for modding whatever the hell you like.
