How's everyone doing today? It's family day here and I'm having hotpot with the rest of my family.

Hope y'all are doing well!

Pretty good. Had lunch with my parents, very nice and peaceful and good. Bit of a headache but mostly all good. Thank God for the day off today, I definitely needed it.

Procrastinated/goofed off all day and am now facing the music for the ten-page paper due tomorrow morning.

This wouldn't have been too bad if I hadn't lost the three pages I'd already written when my computer crashed.

Tuesday morning is good so far ;) I ate a cheese-and-egg-dipped-in-tomato sauce toastie for breakfast. Mmm, toastie, you make me feel so good and so bad at the same time. And since I picked up keys for my new place yesterday I'm feeling pretty good!

I bought bread that wasn't the absolute cheapest loaf in the shop today for the first time in a couple of months and then I brought it home and made a peanut butter and raspberry jam sandwich and it tasted like heaven in my mouth. That was without a doubt the highlight of my whole day! Tomorrow I'm going to have a tomato and cheese sandwich for lunch and a couple of slices with some lovely chicken casserole for tea and it's going to be friggin' lovely. And then the day after it'll still be perfect for sandwiches. I might even have a boiled egg with soldiers.

Mmmm mmm mmmmm.

It's Tuesday and it sucks. It's raining and these preschool kids don't want to practice for sports day bc they want to watch television. Spoilt brats.

(I'm kidding about the last part, I love them, but seriously.)

It's Monday and so-so. I started my job today, which was nice and easy (this is the third time I've been on this project).

On the downside, I expected to have phone sex tonight, but it doesn't look like that's happening. I'm disappointed.

I made pie shells because my mom was craving pumpkin pie, but I'm holding off on making the pie filling bit until tomorrow because i ate too much donair and am feeling sickish. No one shall have dessert unless i can also partake >:|

And the first two packages of stupid shit I ordered came in the mail. I only opened the first one, and I was all STOKED to see one of these fuckers arrive. I'm pretty sure the other box is also toys since it's Mandarake labeled, although I don't remember which order it was... (I wasn't sure if the post office would deliver anything on family day too tbh.)

Slept way too late =/, but at least it didn't make me late for work since I work from home. Continued making the index for the last book I translated (haven't quite figured out yet why this task falls on me, the translator, but I'm not really in a position to argue and I don't mind it much).

Monday evening = choir practice! =D We practiced Teresica Hermana (a 16th century song in Catalan about, we think, a young nun/someone's little sister called Teresa who sneaks out alone one night, whereupon Stuff Happens which makes the Mother want to kill her and it was "a very bad/evil night", apparently. Ya rly.) Great song, and I love my choir and our conductor, so lots of fun was had even though roughly 1/3 of the choir was off sick.

My uncle died over the weekend and aside from mourning him, his loss just makes me think of my childhood and how most of the very important people to me from that period of my life are gone.

Also, someone I love very much doesn't want to live anymore.

I'm tired. Of everything. I wanted this year to be better, but right it just fucking sucks.
