I really liked her friendship with my femShep, and I could see the appeal of this. And if I did it, I'd probably feel exactly the same as you. I don't think you should feel guilty, but I totally understand why you do. Most of the romances in ME made me kind of uncomfortable to begin with.

Oh I don't even know. Just felt really stilted and awkward to me, and the dialogue options always gave me second hand embarrassment. Partly because I went with Jacob and being his superior bugged me, but then I tried other ones and still had to leave the room out of embarrassment after every choice. It's just a neurotic personal preference. I don't think there's anything wrong with them.

Eh, no, I can get where you're coming from. For example, I remember in the Mass Effect comm I used to frequent people thought the Garrus romance started with such an out-of-left-field, awkward as fuck flirt line. Therefore there were entire fics dedicated to explaining it or rewriting that scene or something like that.

So yeah, I can understand. Other people have made similar complaints for all the romances. I particularly remember the superior officer thing for Jacob being mentioned a few times.

I agree that many of the romances had some super weird/awkward bits. ESPECIALLY Jacob. It's terribly awkward just trying to be his damn friend. (And Thane.)
