(Anonymous) 2013-02-19 02:16 am (UTC)(link)Honestly, tarantulas were me "gateway spider" into thinking that spiders might not be super scary, and instead might be kind of cute. I think it's definitely the furriness, it makes them look like stuffed animals, or teddy bears.
