Re: asexuality and autism!
(Anonymous) 2013-02-19 03:12 am (UTC)(link)there's somewhat recently been an increase of people who identify as asexual in different fandom spaces, so people who identify as it tend to get dismissed because they /obviously/ want to rid this new fad sexuality and be a special snowflake. autism has had a bad rap because there's been a few outspoken people who do dumb things and then blame their aspergers on their dumb actions or people who do incredibly socially awkward things (chris-chan comes to mind.) autism hate seems to be dying a bit down, though.
