This is all more or less meaningless if we don't know why you didn't go.

I mean I could be so depressed that I don't leave my apartment on Wednesday, I just mope around in my pjs hating myself. Suppose leaving the apartment that day to go to lecture would have meant getting hit by the bus that goes up my street frequently.

So not leaving the apartment was apparently a good move... but I made it for really shitty reasons.

Ah, but whether or not your reasons were shitty depends somewhat on why you were depressed.

3 years later everybody loves peanut-mallow-chocolate-vodka-noodle-cup, and you are a millionaire. 7 years later you are sued by a 400 pound 6 year old alcoholic for causing his diabeetus. 10 years later you die when the first commercial flight to the moon crashes into the ocean.

The moral? Never go outside on February the 20th.
