The OP's situation is completely the same, regardless of whether their friends have a genuine medical condition or are faking. It doesn't matter if they're actually sick or not, because OP needs to draw fucking boundary lines stat, no matter whether they're actually sick or not.

Nobody (who is not a parent or professional health care provider) is obliged or can be expected to care for someone just because they're sick.

Nobody is obliged or can be expected to care for someone just because they're faking a sickness.

Do you see how in the OP's situation that is the exactly same thing, and therefore bringing up faking is just being a giant fucking douchebag?
