Gah, he looks so creepy there. I haven't seen this movie, but ew.

I find Leo unattractive in general, though. I never got why he was supposed be some kind of super-hot guy, even when he was young.

Yeah, I kind of agree. I mean, I wouldn't be turning him down, but I see him rated up there was the 'classic' hunks like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp. And you can see how they resemble each other.

I will always be amused by how sharply my tastes in men were defined by puberty. Prior, skinny hairless blonde high-voiced Leo was everything. Now it's Wolverine and Leonidas and the Rock and the Hemsworths and aaarrms and haaaair and testosteroooone.

I appreciated him in Django, though. He seemed to be having a lot of fun being over-the-top shitty.

Me too, I had such a crush on him during that movie.

Physically, yes, he was pretty hot in this role. (Despite the teeth; I agree on those. His clothes were amazing, too.)

But more often than not I do find Leo attractive, so I'm not sure how much my opinion counts... (I also think he's become more handsome with age, which I've been lead to believe is an unpopular opinion? IDK.)

He's starting to look like awkward '60s Marlon Brando (between hotness and the Godfather), and that amuses me. More so during the J. Edgar season than the Django one, but still.

I find younger Marlon Brando hot but I'm not overtly familiar with him either; that said, I don't see the resemblance. I haven't watched J. Edgar though so IDK about that.

I've never thought he was "hot", but I always kind of liked him. Thanks to fandom, I have both really high and really low expectations for Django Unchained.

Frankly, I'm tired of the teeth hate. They weren't THAT bad, people. What is with folks and their desire to see perfectly straight pearly white teeth on everybody? Shape, size, color, amount and placement of teeth are variable.

Internet-people get all up on their soapboxes about how we should accept all sizes and orientations and this-n-that about people, but when it comes to teeth they're judgmental pricks. omg, Jewel has an imperfect tooth? KILL HER WITH FIRE.

I swear, I'm not whiteknighting Candie's teeth or anything, I'm just tired of feeling like the world secretly hates *my* teeth.

I think it's because teeth are something you see A LOT when you're talking to somebody. Ugly teeth are a bit like someone having a lazy eye or a huge wart on their nose, it can be super distracting and most people find it really unattractive. Add to that that most people don't particularly want to kiss someone because the thought of getting your tongue onto ugly/dirty teeth is not very appetising.

Americans in general seem to be weirdly obsessed with having blindingly white teeth... Personally I think it looks creepy and unnatural.

I doubt anyone hates your teeth? Hell, my teeth aren't perfectly straight or white either and it's not the end of the world. I don't usually notice teeth that much anyway unless they're being focused on, and very rarely have they changed my opinion on a character or person's attractiveness. No ones teeth have ever made me disgusted. (Well...okay, some fictional characters like Orcs, but...THEY'RE ORCS.) Candie's teeth weren't exactly to my liking but I didn't omg hate them either. And these things usually look much worse and are exaggerated for film anyway.

And I've honestly never heard anyone bash Jewel because of her teeth. ...I mean, I'm sure there are people who do because people are idiots, but they're just teeth and that's dumb.

I didn't find DiCaprio attractive when he was younger, around Titanic-time, but I feel like in the past 10 years or so he has been growing more and more attractive by the year. And I agree, he was disturbingly hot in Django. Possibly because of the accent (and because it was easily THE best performance of the entire movie).
