certainly some fandoms are slash biased, but there's still like a gazillion het fanfics out there. quality however probably sides with slash, but hey, what can you do.

DA I would agree only because there seems to be more slash in my fandom at least and will obviously have more quality fic.

I would say in general most fanfics whichever pairing seems to be 80% shitty

Oh no that totally makes sense. But going by percentage of good vs. bad fic (regardless of how many fics there actually are), I don't think there's a lean toward slash. Having been in both slash-majority and het-majority fandoms, it feels pretty much the same in what percentage of fic is actually decent.

Must be hard to be in a place where it's not about heterosexuals.

It's hard, but the good fight will continue to be fought until there is equality everywhere.

LOLNO. Every fandom I've been in has been M/M >>>>>>>>>>>> M/F >> F/F. It's then usually crossed over with Supernatural, Glee and Teen Wolf to the point where it's COMPLETELY turned me off all three series.

You left out the inevitable Doctor Who crossover where RANDOM CHARACTER 1 becomes a companion and INSERT SOMETHING ROMANTIC HERE.
