That's really annoying. A relative of mine is actually diagnosed with depressed (as am I) and is stuck in a shit marriage and goes to church - I don't, we're still depressed. That may be comfort for some, but not all.

Yes, absolutely. I can understand and respect the comfort thing, but it isn't something I need. It's one thing to advise it and say "hey, maybe try this out?" and a whole other thing to just shove it down my throat.

Not cool.
