This is exactly how I feel about NCIS, NCIS: LA and White Collar.

I just quit NCIS this season. I'm so over it. (Of course I always wanted it to be The Adventures of Abby & Ducky in SCIENCE!, which it was never gonna be. Alas.)

I quit both NCIS this season, so I feel ya. Abby was always my favorite character and I adore Ducky too; I would've watched that show! Hell, I even like Tony and Ziva and McGee but... Idk, I just got so tired of everything. Everything in the show just seemed to drag to me.

I agree with you on White Collar. I still have the last I think 8 episodes sitting on my DVR and I'm not sure if I want to even bother watching them.

Also, I'm not sure if you even remember me since I haven't posted here in so long, but hi!

Poor you...eight is a lot of episodes. If I was that far behind I would probably give up. (I'm only two behind and I still don't want to catch up. I spend half the episodes browsing tumblr as is...)

DALLAS ANON! I was actually thinking about you a couple days ago. I hadn't seen you in a long time so I wasn't sure if you were still around. You were Common Law anon too, right? Good for you, Dallas!user! (Doesn't have the same ring to it tbh, but I still love you.)

Maybe if I get really bored and run out of other stuff I'll watch them but I'm not really looking forward to it.

Yeah, still here! Things got really busy at work for awhile but hopefully I'll have more time now...I've missed this place!

Also, not really related, but I just thought of it. I didn't want to reply because I didn't see it until like a week later, but...there was some thread awhile back about Drop Dead Diva, and you mentioned shipping Jane and Grayson, which made me happy because I don't think I've ever seen a single other person online besides me that did. I'm still sad about that cancellation too...I mean, it wasn't my favorite show ever, but I wanted to see how it ended. :(

I do the same thing with my least favorite shows. (Wait until I'm bored and marathon them.)

Me too... We didn't get near enough Wes and Travis. Considering some of the poop on TV right now it's rather unfair imo.

It wasn't my favorite show either, but I was SUPER invested in Jane/Grayson and they were one of the couples I wanted to see together most. This is a major bummer because I always thought they'd be together in the end, and now we'll never see it. ... D: (This is going to haunt me, dammit.)

Me too. I'm still debating on whether I should do that with Supernatural, though. I stuck it out way longer than most people, I know (it's only the current season I haven't seen) but...I got away! I don't know if I need to go back there lol.

Awww, I'm sorry...I hate to be the one to bring bad news! :( And yeah, I thought it was weird, since I thought it was fairly popular, too, but apparently not. I also always thought they'd get together eventually...sucks that we won't get to see it now.

Good luck breaking it to your mom! Mine wasn't happy either.

Ah, yea, I went through that with SPN too. I think I'm two seasons behind, and I DO plan to finish it eventually, but right now I have little urge to watch. Guess it depends on how much you care about catching up? If you don't like the direction the show takes you can always quit again! (I know that's sometimes easier said than done, lol.)

:( It's okay, not your fault. It does really, really suck though. I would be a bit less upset about the news if there was a fandom and I could read adorable Jane/Grayson fic but there isn't, and there's no chance of that happening either. (And plus, like you said, a lot of people shipped Jane with people other than Grayson; even if there was a fandom it probably wouldn't be one that interested me.)

Ah well...I guess there's always head-canon. (In which they get married, have several kids and live happily ever after.)

You watched the show with your mom too? (Or were just both fans?) My mom introduced me to the show and she's always talking about it, asking when it's coming back on. She's going to be so bummed.

I want to catch up eventually, but like you, I just don't really have the desire to right now. I know I've heard that the current season is the best one in years, but what I've heard about it just doesn't sound all that interesting to me. I'm thinking of maybe just waiting until it ends and then going back and watching the rest then.

Yeah, I never really looked for a fandom because it seemed most people I came across hated Grayson, which I never understood, but I'm not surprised that there isn't one. But yeah, an eventual happily ever after is my headcanon too now.

I think we both just saw the commercials for it and started recording it...I don't think I knew she even watched it until a few episodes had aired.

I like the idea a couple people had right after they announced it wasn't coming back, that Lifetime should make a movie just to wrap things up.

Yea, I kinda wanted to do that then thought, "But what if it really is bad, do you want to be stuck marathoning it?" So I'd like to catch up now so I don't have to later, but I don't feel like watching it either...lol.

I never got the Grayson hate either. I think a lot of it came from people being frustrated he didn't realize he loved Jane earlier. But...it's Lifetime and one of the central parts of the show is Jane's love for him and how impossible it seems. I can't bring myself to blame the character for that, at least not to the point of hate.

Ah, alright. It's nice to share TV shows with those you love, right? Sadly, I don't have many I share with my mom.

I'd love that! I googled it after you mentioned it and the creator seemed to feel somewhat confident that the show would still be renewed somehow or moved to another network. That was last month I think though, so I guess that's probably off the table by now... At any rate, I'll keep a little hope that something happens one day, but I don't know how likely it is.

Yeah, for the most part my mom and I have way different taste in shows. We both watch Dallas but that's it.

I hadn't heard that about it being moved to another network. Maybe it could still work out somehow.
