THEY MAKE A VERSION SPECIALLY FORMULATED FOR MEN'S FACES. IT'S LIKE "GLOP" AND WAIT A COUPLE OF MINUTES AND YOU'RE DONE. NO BUMPS, NICKS, OR REDNESS.

EXCEPT NAIR IS SHIT. doesn't work. smells like a corpse left in a garbage dump. burns and itches. no thanks.

See, I've heard the whole "nair doesn't work" from a ton of people IRL, yet every. Single. Time. When I asked for details they just weren't using it properly.

1) They make different kinds for different hair thickness and skin sensitivity. You have to use the right one.

2) You have to spread it on thickly and don't rub it in. I am consistently amazed by the sheer number of people who can't do this.

3) You have to leave it on long enough, but not too long - these times are right there on the bottle.

4) You have to remove it properly, using a rough cloth in the shower, otherwise it won't pull the hair out.

My mother was one of those IT DOESN'T WORK and swore up and down that she was doing it right so I finally watched her and she was doing EVERYTHING WRONG. Maybe Nair isn't as user-friendly as it should be, but it sure as shit does work. Everybody's hair is keratin, and those chemicals act on keratin.

ALSO THEY HAVE NEW VARIETIES THAT DON'T SMELL NOW. And don't drip, either - they're thick, more solid than goop, and have pleasant fragrances. And have moisturizer built in so that it doesn't burn (though if it's burning you're either a) leaving it on too long or b) using the wrong kind for your skin type).

i have tried nair multiple times, and each time it doesn't work. different types and sensitivities. and no, those pleasant fragrances are not really pleasant. i don't rub, i leave it on as long as the bottle says, use a rough washcloth, etc.

i'm sorry apparent nair stan but it doesn't work for everyone.

Yeah I've heard all that before too but every single time it wasn't true, so I am dubious, even though it is entirely possible you are the magical unicorn whose hair is composed of some other compound than keratin, I admit.

...Though I do note that you don't mention spreading it on thickly. If you spread it thinly, or just not thickly enough, it doesn't work.

I'd ask you to post a Youtube video of how you're doing it so I could see what you're doing wrong but that's getting into ultra creeptastic territory so I'll just let it go.

I've tried nair for sensitive skin, and it still burned the fuck out of me, and that shit hurt for almost week. Never again

I would recommend not getting closer than a few inches to your vag, if you're going to. I use it all the time on my upper pubes/upper thighs and have never had a problem. Never had any ingrown hairs, either, which was a big problem when I used to shave there.

BUT. If you're doing this, do not hop in the shower immediately. Once your time is up, use a washcloth to remove the goop and most of the hair outside of the shower, then get in the shower and wash with cool water and NO PRODUCTS. That's really the secret to Nair, actually--when washing off the residue, do not use body wash or any other products, and don't add a lot of scented lotions afterwards. Doing so only results in pain.

Absolutely you can! (In fact, not wanting anymore horrible ingrown hairs and razor burn on my crotch, back when I was swimming competitively, was a big reason why I started using Nair instead.)

Don't, like, actually get it on your genitals proper, but I can't see why you would because there really shouldn't be hair there.

In any case I've used it for that for years and it's been fine. Much, much more comfortable than shaving. And it will actually last a while, as opposed to getting near-immediate crotch stubble the next day.

honestly my solution to having annoying thick pubes that like to leave a nasty itchy rash when I shave them off is...I don't shave there anymore

I just put on shorts over my swimsuit

I tried nair a long time ago. Smelled awful and did not work. I'd much rather shave, as I've never had any issue with a razor+skintimate gel

I have both sensitive skin and thick hair. You'd think, if anything, I'd be one of those people who can't use Nair, because of the combination.

Nope. Nair does the fucking trick, and only waxing keeps the hairs away as long. NAIR IS MY HAIR REMOVAL SAVIOR.
