One Steve limit.

I personally found it disheartening that the writers find Amelia Novak's character so insignificant to the show's history (and so unlikely to recur) that they'll use the name again.

Would they have randomly picked 'Ellen' as the name for Sam's new flame? Unlikely. Not because it would be impossible or unrealistic, but two important characters having the same name is unnecessarily confusing.

Ergo, Amelia Novak wasn't important, and we probably won't get the heartwarming end-of-series sequence with Jimmy going back to his family.

I'd love to be proven wrong, and I don't dislike Samelia because of this. It just doesn't seem like a good sign.

I guess i just didn't have that much interest in Amelia Novak's story. She was traumatized by demons and by her husband vanishing (and apparently going nuts beforehand), and her daughter was hijacked by an angel....

In my mind, she took her daughter and ran far and fast away from any such supernatural stuff. And, quite sadly, I do believe that Jimmy is gone, and in heaven - not sharing with Castiel any more.

I'm sorry you probably won't get the closure you want.

Interest levels vary, and I'm sure yours is closer to the fandom norm than mine. The dynamics between all three Novaks worked for me, and I would have loved to see more of them.

I waffle between thinking you're right about Jimmy and getting my hopes up every time Castiel wakes up from the latest explosion or whatever and is acting unusual. (Misha said at one point he thinks he's still there, but actor opinion /= canon.)

No apologies necessarily, I'm used to lack of closure due to my generally bizarre character preferences.

It's a pity they can't show us everyone's outcomes. This show is crying out for webisodes that follow survivors, other hunters, some monsters - wouldn't *that* be neat!

I *think* I saw a woman turning into a Doberman on a promo, and now I've gone and convinced myself that it's about Skinwalkers and we'll see Lucky again. If that gives you any idea of the random one-offs I get attached to.

(And yes, that is an awesome idea.)
