Somehow I never really payed much attention to all those scenes being blue and now that I've realized it it's bugging me too. Maybe it's supposed to make it look "cold" or something?

Isn't the point of an interrogation room to make people uncomfortable?

+1

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to seem dark and creepy, which it does.

I don't like the aesthetic either, but it IS an interrogation room. It's not supposed to be gorgeous or look welcoming.

I think "blue scenes" are supposed to be edgy. I just keep thinking, "Man, I was over this back when Johnny Depp did that Headless Horseman movie.

This; plus the teal and orange palette is wildly overused.

Blue light seems to be a video shorthand for "actually very dark room where stuff you need to see happens".

Ha, that's funny - i love the color! A sort of eau de nil. The office is blue/shades of blue/grey, too, and Danny's apartment is, as well! And they wear blue/green shirts a lot.

I ...really like that spectrum of cool colors, so i like it. :)

Is this the same guy as in secret #4? What a lovely face he has. He looks like someone in an old painting.

He is indeed. That is Alex O'Loughlin.

Here, have a picture with better lighting: http://i48.tinypic.com/1z2hvdz.jpg

The show in the secrets is Hawaii 5-0, but I still have a fondness for his former role on a show called Moonlight.

The over used blue filter strikes again. I hate it. I hate both the over used blue filter and the over used orange filter. Jesus fuck directors, give it a rest. Its as laughable as the old sock over the camera lens to make it look like night they used to do bak in the seventies.
