Where would you find a place that sells small engraved rocks in a big city? I want to find something for a gift and there's no time or money to get it online.

(Engraving can be old sentimental thing, love, peace, etc.)

Gift shops? Little knickknack shops? Hallmark stores? Your best bet might be to find a mall and look for a place that sells cards, like Hallmark; they usually carry things like that, too.

Seconding Hallmark or a similar store - I know the ones I've been to sell worry stones and whatnot.

Look for a Things Remembered store in your mall. I used to go there a few years ago, check them out online first.

Never under estimate shoe/clock/general repair/key cutting stores. That's where i normally get it done, ask first to make sure they can do rocks.
