Not gonna be surprised but wish he wasn't Peter Pan. I'd like him to just be another Lost Boy or something. Felt the same with Whale being Frankenstein. Wasn't surprised but disappointed.

Yeah, him being Peter kind of seems like a stretch. He just doesn't feel like a peter to me at all. Could you really see Neil going up against hook? I can't he seems kinda weasel-y to me more than a clever, strong boy. Even as Bae (I can not get my head around him and kid!Bae being the same, though I thought it was going to happen) he wasn't really a pirate-fighting wonder boy, he was more like a woobie!

I thought Henry might turn out to be Peter Pan. The kid who loves his fairy tales, lived in a land where nobody aged, doesn't seem to have a desire to grow up.

Bae's mother leaves Rumpelstiltskin for Hook. Depending on what Bae knows, he may believe Hook is responsible for his mother's death, leading to him going after Hook. Neil's a known thief and rather clever, as he's managed to hide from Mr. Gold and adapt successfully to the real world likely without the assistance of magic. Also, Peter Pan may be more defined as "never wanting to grow up" in this, we don't know.
