Oh Gosh, yes! Parenting standards on this show have got to be the lowest! I can't think of a single parent who is a good one on this show. Perhaps Jefferson/Mad hatter, even though he is kind of crazy he really seems to care and want his daughter's happiness? Than again, it is a bit of a stretch.
