...And once again I've missed something about H50. Is he more ripped now or something?

He looked pretty bad the end of last season because he was fighting a pain pill addiction from an injury.

Yeah he missed a couple episodes near the end last year cause he was in a rehab for it

I did hear of that but I honestly didn't notice a difference in appearance... Oops.

You know....i watch H50 and he doesn't look noticeably different to me. He looks good, yes, but.... Not like he had a spell of being super-thin or anything.

I dunno.

Yea, me too. I knew he had been sick but it never occurred to me that he looked different. I probably should've thought of that in regards to the secret, but it IS tv and I figured by the power of tv magic he'd still look mostly the same.

I just skimmed through some of the last eps of season two and he *does* look a little thinner, but the guy's not hugely ripped to begin with - which is nice - so it's not really very jarring. You see it mostly in his face - his jaw gets more prominent, and his eyes a little hollow.

Ah, alright. I guess this is one of those cases where I miss the obvious... Cause I definitely spend a lot of time looking at Steve's face but I didn't notice.

I'll have to check!

I think it's harder to see 'cause he's not *in* the last few episodes much at all, and before that he was off running around in the jungle or whatever so.... I dunno.

I have a terrible memory, though, and i've to marathon the series for three days straight to really *see* something like that.

I can see where you all are coming from (aka he's no more ripped than usual) but I think that the OP means his face has filled back out. I didn't know he was in rehab/sick, but the episode where he "came back from training" or whatever, I thought his face looked a bit gaunt, which made him look kind of sick.
Especially in HD. "Skinny Steve" didn't look all that fantastic in HD. I'm glad that he seems healthy now. :)
