So, it's after midnight here which means I turn 25 today, and I'm kind of ridiculously hung up on the fact that I have no idea what I want out of life and no idea where I'll be in six months. And I'm torn between scared shitless and laughing scornfully at myself for angsting about 25, quarter of a century and all that, when it's such a silly thing to do. No particular reason to share this, just wanted to get it off my chest before I go get some sleep so I'll be nice and awake tonight when I'll probably go out and get drunk.

Don't get hung up on the whole "what to do with my life' stuff. Your still young. There are people in their 60s only just figuring things out and going back to college. There is no one age when you need to have all this shit figured out. Just live your life and be happy as you can be.

I have no real advice, but there are plenty of people out there with the exact same problem as you. Life is complicated and deciding what to do with your life is a huge decision; it isn't unusual to feel that way.

I turn 25 in July, and I feel the same way. I literally have no idea where my life is heading right now. But we'll make it out all right! :D

I turned 25 last August and I still feel that way. I have a job that is basically on path to be a career, and yet, I'm still living at home with my parents because housing is just so expensive.

So angst away, just do what you want!

25 was the only birthday so far that's bothered me, and I've heard other people say the same thing. I was cool with 30, and I'll be cool with 34 when it comes up this summer. But something about 25 really got under my skin. IDK why.

As a 25 yr old, I had a lot of trouble with turning 25, too. I felt like I hadn't gotten where I had hoped to be. But then, when I thought back on it, I had done a lot that I was extremely proud of.

So maybe you don't have everything you wanted at this point yet, but look at how far you are already!

And you're only 25! You still have a load of time to get where you want to be.

I turned 25 recently, and am totally in that shitty feeling. but shhhhh nobody needs to know

I'm tied between panicking because my life is not where I had hoped it would be in comparison to others, or giving expectations the middle finger and trying to be okay with my pace. The pace of I'm not doing anything fast enough why do I even bother with school AUGH chillaxing.
