But what if it just doesn't 'do it' for you. I mean, I like seeing a guy protect a girl, but I'm not going to be all PC and say that I get all tingly about seeing it swapped around.

Well, no, I said if it annoyed you. Then, I might side-eye you and wonder if it annoys you because you're sexist and don't like seeing gender roles subverted.

But if it simply doesn't make you "tingly", well, that's not only personal preference, it's also very emotionally-based personal preference, and it would be totally silly to judge you for that.
