Eh, I don't agree. She's definitely smart, but her cleverness is almost unilaterally applied to taking care of and protecting her family (or, in the case of Ted, someone she feels loyalty for other reasons). There's not a lot of indication that she pursues knowledge for its own sake, and she frequently puts her interests and even her safety on hold for the sake of her people.
