Re: Can't write your favorite ship?
(Anonymous) 2013-02-22 02:06 am (UTC)(link)As for the question...maybe the specific dynamics of Alice/Betty aren't your forte when it comes to writing fiction? Or maybe canon is satisfying enough that you don't have any good plotbunnies for what you'd like to see?
Re: Can't write your favorite ship?
(Anonymous) 2013-02-22 02:22 am (UTC)(link)As for that, possibly. I've written Alice/Betty before and been pleased with how it turned out, but I'll admit that the Alice/Carol dynamic is more fun to write (and admittedly less of a hassle, if I may be over-dramatic for a moment, since they have more canon interaction to draw from). Canon definitely isn't satisfying enough (it's a very not-canon pairing), but I can't just come up with any plotbunnies more specific than "I want to write something cute." Well, mostly. I've had some vague, passing ideas for things to tie into some other fics I've written for them in the past, but I really want to write some standalone fluff.
