This is like way over ten years but there was an amazing artist in one of my first fandoms and in addition to doing fanart for this one fandom she also did amazing art featuring dinosaurs and this one person saw it and told the artist this is what her religion looks like.

The artist was freaked out by this and tried to avoid having a conversation with the dino worshipper. The rest of the fandom shrugged it off until late 04 or early 05 when dino gal flipped her shit and unfriended nearly everyone except for the ones she bunked with at a recent con and just insulted everyone who disagreed with her.
