It is a weirdly specific writer's block, but a relatively common one.

Because you're more invested in your OTP than other pairings, you might get paralyzed by the desire to make anything you write of them absolutely perfect. In your case, it might be because you're subconsciously discarding ideas that you don't think are good enough for your favored pairing.

I've done it before myself. It's very frustrating. Yet another facet of the 'I want to write, I feel like writing, but I have no ideas' form of writer's block, which is one of the worst kinds.
