While I don't think Steve would take forever to learn new technology - mostly on the basis of what he was interacting with during WWII and his friendship with Howard, who massively influence modern technology - I do think some people on this thread are underestimating how much background knowledge it's needed to use phones. I mean, yeah, you push a button and it does something, but we use a LOT of built-up computer knowledge in order to know which button to push. ("What does that little blue-square thing with a gray circle and square inside it do?" "Oh, that saves things." "...saves? As opposed to what?")
