The OP is mentioning a scene in the second season when Lori basically told Andrea to put down the gun and get back in the kitchen. Andrea handled it beautifully by calling Lori out on her shit.

Lori's death was one of my favorite scenes.

Actually, OP is mentioning a scene in the second season when Lori basically told Andrea to stop sunning herself on top of the RV "on lookout duty" and actually do some work to help keep their community functioning. It wasn't a crowning moment of awesome for either of them, but Andrea's tantrum in response was anything but "beautiful." There's wanting to be more active in protecting yourself and others, and then there's thinking you're better than the less-than-glamorous elements of subsistence living because of how "badass" you are.

Clearly your reading comprehension is less than stellar.

I am glad they didn't like Lori and the baby like in the comics. It was just so stupidly senseless and violent. I understand this is a horror comic, but I think at this point the writers don't know what to do with the story and are just killing people off for the shock value. The whole, "anyone can die" idea doesn't make the comic edgy, it just makes me not want to read the comic.

I don't know if that specific scene (Lori's death) was one of them, but the comic creator has admitted to regretting things he does in the comics before. Apparently the way he writes super violent scenes is "Oh that would be cool!" but he doesn't think about the aftermath and what he'll do with the characters afterward.

The comics are fine but I like that the show goes in a different direction, it makes things more exciting and unexpected. If it was just a shot by shot remake of the comic I'd never feel nervous about who is going to die because I'd always know.

If you think that's bad, don't read what happened to Glen more recently. It's awful.

I liked Andrea before the scene where she started ordering the fleeing townspeople to put down their weapons and stay behind the walls. LOL, bitch, you're not a local. You just got here and your only claim to authority is that you're sleeping with the gov. Those people aren't going to listen to you (except they did there were shots of people hugging her after she gave A Rousing Speech and I wanted to scream because that's a Mary Sue move and Andrea deserves better than to become a M.S.) Sierra Tango Foxtrot Uniform and listen to Michonne.

Nothing Andrea ever chooses to do is right. Let's fawn over my zombie-bitten sister's corpse. Let's stay in the CDC and die. Let's have sex with Shane. Let's whine and hem-haw about our allegiances. Let's shoot the only legit badass on the team. Let's run around in circles while zombies are coming for us. Let's ignore Michonne's good advice. Let's sleep with Governor Crazyfuck. Seriously, I wanted so much to like her... but everything she chooses to do is the opposite of correct. Argh.

I can ignore/forgive a lot of that. The decision to stay in the CDC was pretty understandable given the world she had to face. I might've made the same choice. Mourning a loved one is normal, and I would argue that shooting something that you have a legitimate reason to believe is a zombie is a good idea. She didn't know the Governor was cray-cray and he offered her a stable environment vs. Michonne offering her an insane and dangerous world. I'm ok with her making mistakes.

I'm not ok with her becoming a Mary Sue. No. Just...no.

Go read the comics - you'll weep when you realize how badly they massacred her character in the TV series!

Yeah, that Rousing Speech was something special. My husband and I literally LOL'ed when she was done with that.

I like her character and I really, really hate the direction they've taken her. The cluebus has pretty much run Andrea over by this point, and I don't get why she isn't getting fuck out of there.

If whatever you're hoping for could be boiled down to "I'd like a female character on that show to start acting less like a bad stereotype," then you're not going to get it.

Yeah I was dissapointed. Baby death by shotgun was something I was looking forward to seeing the reactions of, but I feared they'd puss out.

I always get confused when people talk about the character of Lori whilst using pictures of Laurie Holden and calling the character 'Laurie'. I don't care if people spell a character's name wrong but I've seen this particular thing happen three times over the past few days and it's somewhat amusing.

I wish I knew what the writers were doing with Andrea this season. I dont even think they know, to be honest. They threw her in a relationship with the Governor to try and show a different side to that character but now that she's learning who and what he really is she needs to be running in the other damn direction. But she's not and it doesnt seem like she will anytime soon so apparently they're going to make her evil now? Because siding with someone like the Governor after you learn everything he's done? Makes you evil. And I really don't want that to happen to Andrea.

There are some rumors that the writers threw her at the governor to try and kill off the demand for Andrea/Daryl since the writers want us to go more for Daryl/Carol.

jerks. I never really gelled with Carol for some reason. Oh well, I usually hate how relationships work with characters I like on shows anyway. I'll just enjoy my imagination.

So they basically wrote the whole third season just to piss of Andrea/Daryl stans? That's the most ridiculous thing I ever read. Her attraction to The Governor is completely understandable, and her being in Woodbury is big part of plot for this season.

I don't buy it. Getting involved with the Governor fits her previous characterization; after Shane, I'm really not surprised to discover that alpha-male sociopath is Andrea's "type."

I really like Andrea's character, and I thought that her choices made sense given that the audience had info she doesn't, but the second she walked into the Governor's locked room and saw his smashed up tanks of heads and didn't get the hell out of dodge: *shakes head*

I have no idea what they're doing with her but her characterization makes no sense to me anymore. :(

Yes, I find it hilarious that the OP went to all that trouble to make the graphic and post the secret, but couldn't look up the correct spelling of her name. Funny thing is that I don't even watch the show.
