I'm a 3D artist who has looked at too many boobs over the last two years
Of course, there is a lot of variation between breasts, so what one person finds strange another might find normal.
What, you may ask, could be seen as "strange" about them?
~ She's very skinny, and there are ribs showing between them. But even a heavy person can have thin flesh over the upper chest.
~ The friend may think of "normal boobs" having larger areolas, or smaller/longer/shorter/thicker nips.
~ The friend may be unused to pale women with dark nipples.
[ETA: The friend may be from a family where the nipples typically point somewhat down from level instead of slightly up. For personal reasons, I am bemused that I left this out.]
~ The friend may not be a fan of other women's boobs in general.
If it were a guy friend, I'd just say your friend's knowledge of boobs is defective. As it's a lady friend, it may just be the way some of us talk smack about attractive people of the same sex. Either way, don't worry about it, your friend is full of it.
